These terms of use govern the use of the iOS app “FahrtenPro – Digital Fahrtenbuch” (“FahrtenPro”).
1. Provider

2. Scope of the service
FahrtenPro is software for locally recording and documenting vehicle trips (electronic Fahrtenbuch) with GPS distance measurement, business/private classification, reports and PDF and CSV export. The app is designed around German Fahrtenbuch documentation requirements.
3. No tax advice, no guarantee of acceptance
FahrtenPro is not affiliated with the tax authorities and does not replace tax or legal advice. There is no assurance that records created with FahrtenPro will be accepted by a tax office. You are responsible for the completeness, accuracy and timely keeping of your records.
4. GPS distance and odometer
GPS distances are approximations whose accuracy depends on reception, device and surroundings. They are not the vehicle’s odometer reading. Odometer values are entered by you only.
5. Free use and FahrtenPro Lifetime
The first three successfully saved trips are free. Further trips require the one-time in-app purchase “FahrtenPro Lifetime”. It is not a subscription and there are no recurring charges. Purchase, payment, refunds and restore are subject to the Apple App Store terms.
6. Road safety
Do not operate the app while driving. Use CarPlay only to start and stop trips and add details only once the vehicle is safely parked. Traffic regulations always take precedence.
7. Backups
Since all data is stored only on your device, you are responsible for backing it up. Regularly create PDF or CSV exports and use device backups.
8. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. In cases of slight negligence we are only liable for breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to typically foreseeable damage. Liability under product liability law remains unaffected.
9. Apple
These terms are between you and the provider, not Apple. Apple’s standard licensed application end user license agreement (EULA) applies in addition. Apple is not responsible for the app, its content, maintenance or support.

11. Final provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods; mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected. Should any provision be invalid, the remaining provisions remain effective.
