This privacy policy applies to the iOS app “FahrtenPro – Digital Fahrtenbuch” (“FahrtenPro”) and the website fahrtenpro.tarikdavulcu.com.

2. Principle: processing on your device
FahrtenPro works without a user account and without its own server. Trips, location points, vehicles, profile details and the change history are processed and stored exclusively on your iPhone. We never receive this data.
3. Location data
Location data is only collected after you start a trip and only until it ends – including in the background while the screen is locked. It is used solely to calculate the GPS distance and to document start and destination. There is no location tracking without an active trip. You can revoke the permission at any time in iOS Settings.
4. Storage period and deletion
The data stays on your device until you delete it in the app or remove the app. There is no cloud synchronisation. Exports (PDF/CSV) are only created on request and only leave the device if you share them yourself.
5. In-app purchase via Apple
Purchase and restore of “FahrtenPro Lifetime” are handled entirely by Apple’s App Store. Apple processes data under its own responsibility according to Apple’s privacy policy. We receive no payment data; the app only stores locally whether a purchase verified by Apple exists.
6. Optional Apple services
Disabled by default: “Address lookup via Apple” sends the start and destination coordinates to Apple to determine addresses; “Apple Maps background” loads map tiles from Apple. You can enable both in Settings and disable them again at any time.
7. Contact by email
If you write to us at [email protected], we process your email address and the content of your message solely to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). The data is deleted once the request has been completed and no statutory retention obligations apply.
8. No analytics, no tracking, no advertising
FahrtenPro contains no third-party analytics, tracking, advertising or crash-reporting SDKs. There is no tracking as defined by Apple’s App Tracking Transparency. Reminders about running trips are local notifications on your iPhone; no push server is used.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. Because your trip data only exists on your device, you can view, export and delete it yourself in the app at any time. Please send requests to [email protected].
10. Changes
We update this privacy policy when the app or the legal situation changes. The current version is available in the app and at https://fahrtenpro.tarikdavulcu.com/privacy.html.
